Shaping India’s Rooftop Solar Market
In June 2024, Selec entered the rooftop solar market with a fully indigenous product portfolio, offering single-phase inverters from 1–6 kW and three-phase inverters from 3–10 kW. Within the same financial year, the company crossed 10,000 installations nationwide — a milestone reflecting strong market acceptance and trust in Made-in-India solar technology.
Designed for India’s environmental and grid conditions, the inverters feature a proprietary generation-optimized algorithm to maximize energy yield and minimize downtime, a low startup voltage of 50V for early-morning and low-light performance, a custom-designed heatsink that keeps internal temperatures up to 5°C cooler to extend product life by nearly two years, and a corrosion-resistant plastic casing for durability and ease of handling.
Selec is expanding this portfolio with on-grid inverters up to 350 kW for commercial and utility-scale applications, hybrid inverters up to 10 kW for solar-plus-storage systems, and microinverters for module-level optimization and flexibility.
