Constant Energy, a leading renewable energy solutions provider in Asia, has announced a landmark partnership with KASIKORNBANK (KBank), one of Thailand’s foremost financial institutions and a recognized leader in renewable energy financing. Under the agreement, KBank has extended a THB 231 million credit facility to refinance 13 operating rooftop solar projects with a combined capacity of 13.7 MWp. “Over the last eight years, we have built a strong foundation in Southeast Asia that has allowed us to navigate the challenges of our pioneering industry. We’re glad to see the growing adoption of industrial solar rooftops in Thailand, supported by enabling and stable regulations. Rooftop solar is one of the most efficient ways to access green power, as it is generated onsite, where the demand is, without transmission risks or losses. Thailand has, on a recurring basis, been the number one rooftop solar market in ASEAN, reflecting the country’s stable leadership in clean energy innovation. This loan will enable us to accelerate investments in key areas, drive our operations for years to come, and help Thai-based companies achieve their sustainability goals faster.” said Franck Constant, CEO and founder of Constant Energy.
Managed by Constant Energy and owned through its subsidiaries, these projects deliver clean electricity to Fortune 500 companies across key sectors, including food and beverage, electronics, and metallurgy.
The refinancing provides significant strategic advantages for Constant Energy, including:
- Improved financial efficiency through lower financing costs, longer loan tenor, and optimized leverage.
- Reduced currency risk by aligning revenues and debt in Thai Baht.
- Expanded banking partnerships by strengthening relationships with both local and global lenders.
