SEDA Malaysia Audits Energy Use at Sekolah Izzuddin Shah to Boost Efficiency and Sustainability

The Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) Malaysia has carried out an on-site energy audit at Sekolah Izzuddin Shah, Ipoh, on August 5 and 6, as part of the MADANI Adoptive School Programme 2025.

The audit focused on identifying overall energy consumption patterns, including the use of high-energy electrical appliances, evaluating the efficiency of air conditioning systems, and pinpointing opportunities for improved energy management.

According to SEDA, such measures can significantly reduce electricity costs while lowering carbon emissions, contributing to the creation of sustainable and environmentally friendly schools.

SEDA Malaysia reiterated its commitment to supporting educational institutions in their transition toward a sustainable energy future.
