Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited, a leading player in the renewable engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) sector, has announced the receipt of a Letter of Intent from a prominent private independent power producer for a major solar power project in Rajasthan. The contract involves the balance of system (BOS) EPC package for the development of a 300 MW AC / 420 MWp DC solar photovoltaic project, along with the construction of a 220/33 kV pooling substation.
Speaking on the order win, Mr. Chandra Kishore Thakur, Global CEO, Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Group shared, “We are excited to partner with a leading global renewable developer with huge growth plans in the domestic market and bag our first order from the Private IPP market this fiscal. The order is a testament to our strong execution capabilities, and we continue to build on our gross order inflows which have exceeded INR 2,400 crore this year.”
The total value of the contract is estimated at around ₹415 crore, inclusive of operations and maintenance services as well as applicable taxes. This project further strengthens Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy’s presence in India’s rapidly expanding solar market and highlights its expertise in executing large-scale, complex renewable energy projects. By securing this order, the company continues to reinforce its reputation as a trusted partner for renewable energy infrastructure, contributing meaningfully to India’s transition toward cleaner power and long-term sustainability.
