On the afternoon of September 19, Cybrid Technologies Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 603212, hereinafter referred to as “Cybrid”) held a grand ceremony at its headquarters to mark the opening of the Cybrid Innovation Engineering Academy and the inauguration of the Cybrid AI+ Laboratory.
The Academy will establish a curriculum system covering four core modules: innovation methodologies, engineering competencies, modern marketing, and AI tools. Meanwhile, the AI+ Laboratory will focus on exploring the application of new technologies in R&D. Together, these two platforms represent a strategic step forward for Cybrid in systematic innovation talent cultivation and in reshaping paradigms for advanced materials research injecting strong momentum into the company’s core strategy of “Innovation Creates the Future.”

Industry, Academic, and Government Support
The event was attended by leaders from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology (New Materials Division), Suzhou Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Wujiang District Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Wujiang Science and Technology Bureau, and the Wujiang Economic and Technological Development Zone Administrative Committee. Representatives from Suzhou Laboratory, the Graduate School of Soochow University, the School of Materials, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and the School of Textile and Garment Engineering were also present. In addition, around 20 representatives from investment institutions and industry partners witnessed this milestone.
A Different Kind of Corporate Academy
Unlike a traditional “corporate university,” the Cybrid Innovation Engineering Academy integrates Cybrid’s 17 years of technical practice with advanced training methods from the U.S., Germany, and Japan. Its systemized curriculum—covering innovation methodologies, engineering qualities, modern marketing, and AI tools—will be open not only to internal employees, but also to ecosystem partners, graduate students, and the broader community. Internally, the Academy will serve as a talent engine to support corporate strategy execution; externally, it will empower supply-chain partners and academic institutions, fulfilling Cybrid’s social responsibility.
AI+ Laboratory: Rethinking Materials R&D
Launched alongside the Academy, the Cybrid AI+ Laboratory signals a forward-looking shift in R&D models. In collaboration with Soochow University, Cybrid is applying an “AI + new materials” concept that uses high-throughput computing combined with AI models to accelerate R&D. This enables a transition from traditional experience-driven materials development to a data-driven, design-oriented paradigm, addressing the long-standing challenge of slow commercialization in new materials. The initiative will help Cybrid shorten R&D cycles, cut diverse costs, and enable early testing of new material candidates.
Leadership Perspectives
Wu Xiaoping, Dean of the Cybrid Innovation Engineering Academy, remarked:“The Academy is an important pillar for Cybrid’s globalization strategy and sustainable development. We are committed to systematically cultivating innovative engineering and management talent. This not only provides ongoing momentum for Cybrid’s own innovation, but also contributes ideas and solutions to the broader industry ecosystem.”
Coach and student representatives also shared their perspectives on practice-based innovation training. During the ceremony, the unveiling of the Academy and AI+ Laboratory was officially completed, and letters of appointment were presented to the first group of distinguished coaches, formally establishing the Academy’s hands-on teaching team.
Government leaders attending the event praised Cybrid’s pioneering role in innovation talent development and expressed high expectations for the company’s contribution to advancing productivity and industry progress.

- Li Kai, Director of the New Materials Division, Jiangsu Department of Industry and Information Technology:
“The establishment of the Academy and AI+ Laboratory demonstrates Cybrid’s vision and responsibility as an innovation leader. This model of talent training, deeply aligned with industry needs, provides valuable experience for the high-quality development of Jiangsu’s new materials industry.” - Lu Kejie, Deputy Director of Suzhou Industry and Information Technology Bureau:
“The Academy is an excellent model for enterprises in independent talent cultivation and industry-education integration. We hope it can bridge gaps between the talent chain and the industrial chain, continuously empowering Suzhou’s new materials sector.” - Zhu Yungen, Deputy Director of Wujiang Economic and Technological Development Zone:
“Cybrid is a benchmark enterprise for innovation in the development zone. We will continue to support its collaboration with universities and research institutes to foster a more dynamic talent development environment.”
Strengthening Industry-Academia Collaboration
To further deepen industry-university-research cooperation, a strategic cooperation signing ceremony was held. Prof. Zhang Jinping, Dean of the Graduate School of Soochow University; Prof. Ji Wei, Party Secretary of the School of Future Science and Engineering; and Mr. Wu Xiaoping, Chairman of Cybrid, jointly signed the “Cybrid AI Intelligent Company Joint Construction Agreement” and the “Excellence in Engineer Training Joint Agreement.” These initiatives aim to tightly integrate R&D innovation with talent cultivation, injecting lasting momentum into sustainable industrial development.
Looking Ahead
Cybrid will continue to use innovation as its pen and technology as its ink, promoting deep integration of industry, academia, research, and application. Together with global partners, Cybrid will tackle the “last mile” challenge of moving critical advanced materials from the lab to commercialization, and will help draw a new blueprint for the polymer materials industry—intelligent, green, and efficient.
