The 2nd edition of The Solar Week UAE 2025: Conference & Exhibition concluded on an inspiring note at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Dubai, reaffirming the UAE’s strong commitment to advancing its solar and clean energy ambitions. As the nation accelerates progress under the UAE Energy Strategy 2050, this influential gathering ignited collaboration, innovation, and actionable momentum across the renewable energy value chain.

Set against the backdrop of the UAE’s sustainability vision and regional leadership in clean energy, the event served as a high-powered platform for policymakers, developers, investors, and technology leaders to connect, share insights, and drive forward the nation’s clean energy transformation.

Gracing the event as Chief Guest, Mr. Faisal Rashid, Senior Director – Demand Side Management, Supreme Council of Energy, delivered the Opening Remarks on “Pathway to UAE Clean Energy: Focus on Dubai’s 2050 Strategy.” His address highlighted Dubai’s achievements in energy diversification and its roadmap for advancing clean energy adoption across sectors.

The Keynote Address by Guest of Honour, Mr. Shuvendu Bose, Senior Advisor, Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, UAE, underscored the nation’s robust policy framework, public-private collaboration, and technology-led innovation as vital enablers of the UAE’s clean energy transformation.

Adding to the momentum, Eng. Mohammad Jame, Vice President – Clean Energy & Diversification, DEWA, was honoured for his leadership in advancing renewable integration through landmark initiatives such as the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, one of the world’s largest and most impactful solar projects.

From large-scale solar and storage to smart grid innovations, the event showcased how the UAE is translating its clean energy ambitions into real-world progress through strategic partnerships and forward-thinking initiatives.
