Sungrow revealed its next-generation PV plant design platform, iSolarDesign, at All Energy Australia 2025. Designed around a dual-core architecture of โ€œScenario + Computing Power,โ€ the platform introduces a new era of intelligent, adaptable, and highly efficient solar system design. iSolarDesign enables solar designers and installers to generate optimal system solutions within minutes, offering a one-stop digital experience that accelerates project planning and execution.

Powered by Sungrowโ€™s proprietary SIFSC swarm intelligence algorithm, iSolarDesign achieves full-scenario adaptability across PV systems, ESS, and MLPE devices such as micro-inverters, power optimizers, and rapid shutdown units.

A standout feature of iSolarDesign is its multi-objective intelligent optimization capability, powered by Sungrowโ€™s self-developed SSDM (Smart System Design Matrix) algorithm. This enables users to instantly generate and compare multiple optimized solutionsโ€”such as ideal DC/AC ratios or maximum economic efficiencyโ€”based on project requirements. Integrated with global electricity market data, the system adapts to regional energy consumption patterns, ensuring precise, scenario-specific recommendations.

Beyond design, iSolarDesign seamlessly connects the entire project lifecycleโ€”from layout and quotation to delivery and maintenance. It supports automatic 3D visualization, generates electrical drawings, and synchronizes real-time data to streamline installation and O&M. With accessibility via both web and mobile apps, users can manage projects anytime, anywhere.
