LONGi to Showcase “Green Tech for a Shared Future” at COP30 in Brazil’s Amazon Rainforest

The 30th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP30) will take place from November 10 to 21 in Belém, Brazil, at the heart of the Amazon rainforest. LONGi, a global leader in solar technology, will actively participate under the theme “Green Tech for a Shared Future,” presenting a series of initiatives that reflect its commitment to climate action, biodiversity protection, and a just energy transition. The 12-day conference will center around six key action pillars, including energy, industry, transportation, and environmental sustainability.

As part of its engagement, LONGi will release its “2024–2025 Climate Action White Paper,” highlighting its achievements in emissions reduction, value-chain decarbonization, and climate strategy. The company will also join the completion ceremony of the UNHCR Brazil solar power donation project, showcasing the role of renewable energy in improving resilience and energy access for vulnerable communities.

Furthering its sustainability agenda, LONGi will publish the “2025 Biodiversity Conservation Report,” aligned with TNFD recommendations, and participate in the “Protect the Amazon” rainforest conservation project. In addition, LONGi will host a high-level event titled “Beyond Solar: Building a Resilient Zero-Carbon World,” to explore technologies, business models, and policy pathways for achieving global carbon neutrality.
