Deolali Cantonment Board Invites Bids For 55 kW Rooftop Solar Projects In Maharashtra

The Cantonment Board Deolali has issued an e-Tender notice for two new rooftop solar power projects planned for the year 2025–26. The tender invites contractors registered with government departments such as PWD, CPWD, MES, MJP, Zilla Parishad, or other authorized agencies. Eligible bidders must be electrical licensed contractors or registered solar firms. The projects will follow a two-bid system and aim to expand clean energy adoption within key public institutions in Deolali.

The first work includes the supply, fixing, installation, and commissioning of a 30 kW rooftop on-grid solar PV power plant at the Cantonment Combined Primary School located on Gurudwara Road. The estimated cost of this project is around ₹40 lakh. The second work involves a similar scope for a 25 kW rooftop on-grid solar PV plant at the Cantonment General Hospital, including the Blood Bank and OPD Building on Wadner Road. This project is also valued at approximately ₹40 lakh.

For each work, the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) has been set at ₹80,000, and the tender fee is ₹5,000, which is non-refundable. Bidding will take place through the official defence procurement portal. The tender process begins with the document download facility opening on November 18, 2025, at 5 p.m., followed by the start of bid submission at 6 p.m. on the same day. The sale of e-tender documents will continue until December 8, 2025, up to 1 p.m. Bidders must submit their offers before 4 p.m. on the same day.

The technical bids will be opened on December 9, 2025, after 4 p.m., while financial bids will be opened on December 10, 2025, after 11 a.m. The notice has been signed by Chief Executive Officer Shri Abhishek Mani Tripathi, I.D.E.S., dated November 14, 2025. No specific mention of a Performance Bank Guarantee has been provided in the notice.
