Leadership teams from LONGi, POWERCHINA, and ENGIE have met in Beijing, China, and officially signed a cooperation agreement for the 1.5GW PV4 Hazza 1 PV project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is another new step after the three parties signed a framework agreement in Paris, France, this May, marking that the project cooperation has fully entered the implementation stage.

In this cooperation, LONGi will supply 1.1GW of high-efficiency BC modules Hi-MO 9 for this project. After the project is completed, it will greatly increase the production scale of clean energy in the Middle East and help create a new benchmark for high-quality power stations worldwide.

The Khazna Solar PV Project is located in the eastern part of the Arabian Peninsula. It has a tropical desert climate, with extremely high and variable temperatures in summer. As the flagship product of LONGi’s BC series, the Hi-MO 9 module is built on the HPBC 2.0 high-efficiency technology and has excellent comprehensive power generation capabilities. It can maintain efficient and reliable power generation, especially in complex scenarios such as high temperature, high humidity, and uneven light irradiation.

Previously, for a desert environmental governance project, in Bayan Nur, Inner Mongolia, China, its power output per kilowatt exceeded TOPCon by 2.45%, while energy yield per unit area was 9.05% higher. Even during prolonged rainy periods, Hi-MO 9 maintained superior daily generation, delivering a monthly gain of 2.44%.

Independent validation from Enertis Applus+ and IPVF in Spain and France confirmed Hi-MO 9’s LCOE advantages, further strengthening its reputation as a high-value solution for global developers.

For this coming project, LONGi’s high-efficiency BC technology will definitely trigger a new wave of value iteration and efficiency upgrade.

During the meeting, Mr. Zhong, chairman of LONGi,said, ” Three parties will give full play to each respective advantage, in project development, in technological innovation, and construction, jointly promote the success COD of key projects, expand the cooperation achievements.”

This cooperation is not only a new milestone for the three parties to complement each other’s advantages and promote the global energy revolution, but also another strong proof that LONGi’s BC technology empowers diverse global scenarios.
