SEHMUA has launched its first 2K Solar Security Camera System, introducing a fully wireless, solar-powered home-security solution designed for simplified installation and subscription-free operation. The new system, which includes four cameras and a central homebase, targets homeowners and small businesses seeking an affordable, low-maintenance security alternative.
The CK14S system features 2K resolution, 355ยฐ pan and 90ยฐ tilt, and digital zoom, enabling wide-area surveillance across multiple zones. Each camera is equipped with a 3W solar panel and a 5200 mAh rechargeable battery, offering continuous, off-grid operation aimed at ensuring year-round reliability. SEHMUA says the setup is designed for โhassle-free, plug-and-playโ installation, with cameras automatically connecting to the homebase via dual-band WiFi.
A key highlight of the system is its local storage capability. The homebase includes 64 GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 256 GB, allowing users to record and store security footage without paying monthly cloud fees. The company notes that the device can retain up to 120 days of footage, addressing privacy concerns associated with cloud-based systems.
The system also supports four simultaneous live camera feeds, enabling real-time multi-zone monitoring on a single screen. SEHMUA states that the camera sensors allow users to capture clear details, including license plates from a distance of up to 32 feet.
By combining solar power, wireless connectivity, and local storage, SEHMUA aims to address growing demand for energy-independent, cost-effective home-security solutionsโparticularly in areas where wiring, electricity supply, or cloud-subscription models pose challenges.
The company says the launch marks a significant step in expanding its presence in the smart-security market, with the new system positioned as an accessible option for households, small businesses, and properties seeking a reliable, maintenance-light security solution.
