Resonia Ltd., a leading power transmission infrastructure company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Amber Wings, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ubifly Technologies Pvt Ltd, to form a strategic Joint Venture aimed at revolutionizing material logistics and construction workflows through heavy-lift drone technology. The agreement was signed at Dubai Airshow 2025.

The partnership seeks to replace slow, manual logistics with autonomous, heavy-lift aerial systems, accelerating India’s infrastructure development. The MoU follows a successful pilot project at the Khavda IV C Transmission Project, where M50 delivery drones transported up to four tonnes of material per day across challenging terrain, reducing manual effort, mitigating on-ground risks, and shortening project timelines.

Arun Sharma, CEO of Resonia, highlighted the significance of the initiative: “By integrating heavy-lift drone technology, Resonia is enhancing efficiency and safety on the Khavda IV C Transmission Project while laying the foundation for next-generation mechanization across the sector. This milestone reaffirms our commitment to breakthrough innovation and strengthens our ability to deliver complex projects with greater speed, precision, and excellence.”

Prof. Satya Chakravarthy, Founder of Ubifly Technologies and CTO of Amber Wings, added: “This agreement, signed at the world’s most influential aerospace event, significantly boosts India’s advanced aerial systems. Focusing on enhanced payload drones, cooperative swarm technology, and autonomous tower installation, this collaboration will accelerate development and deployment, ensuring practical impact. We are excited about the potential use cases our drone platform can enable.”

The JV will deploy drone systems for material movement, tower assembly support, and remote logistics, moving away from conventional, high-risk, manual construction practices toward modern, agile, and technology-driven solutions.
