At EnerMAN, we play a central role in advancing the digital backbone of rural renewable energy systems under MNRE’s PM-KUSUM program by deploying an integrated architecture of high-precision monitoring, secure data management, and advanced analytics that elevate the operational stability and long-term performance of decentralised solar assets across India.

As a technology partner to PMKUSUM program, we at EnerMAN, support the goals of the program by offering cutting-edge data management and monitoring solutions that are crucial for maximising the performance of solar assets.

EnerMAN enhances PM-KUSUM distributed grid-connected photovoltaic plants, through deeply engineered, field-tested solutions designed to increase system visibility, ensure energy reliability, and extend asset life cycles. Our contribution begins at the device layer through the ETi-EDGE Local Monitoring System, which provides on-site, real-time tracking of solar PV plant performance, capable of interfacing with inverters, energy meters, string-level instrumentation, and environmental sensors via industrial protocols such as RS485, Modbus RTU/TCP, and Ethernet-based communication. ETi-EDGE Local SCADA performs continuous parameter acquisition, inverter health checks, real-time anomaly detection, and fault signature identification to ensure that all PM-KUSUM installations operate within optimal thresholds while enabling rapid maintenance interventions whenever deviations occur. The system transmits data securely using MQTT with encryption and authentication layers aligned to MNRE, CEA, and DISCOM cybersecurity standards, ensuring consistent, authenticated, and compliant data flow to central servers and government portals.

At the cloud analytics layer, EnerMAN strengthens operational intelligence through the RMS/ Remote Monitoring SCADA (ETI-SOL), facilitates data-driven decision-making by offering safe, scalable remote access to performance analytics, live and historical data. ETi-SOL has the features of – Centralized Monitoring System (CMS) / Remote Monitoring System (RMS) which allows the plant owner to view multiple plants data in single platform efficiently. ETi-SOL which consolidates distributed solar assets into a unified digital environment supporting granular performance tracking, predictive modelling, asset benchmarking, and automated regulatory documentation for EPCs, developers, DISCOMs, and government agencies. ETI-SOL integrates advanced machine learning algorithms capable of detecting module soiling trends, inverter derating events and long-term degradation patterns, allowing asset operators to implement predictive maintenance strategies and optimise energy yield across diverse field conditions.

The platform also integrates seamlessly with MNRE’s Solar Energy Development and Monitoring (SEDM) platform, through structured data packaging, time-synchronised logging, and secure government-grade transfer protocols, ensuring full regulatory compliance for all monitored sites. EnerMAN’s technology backbone directly supports the mission of PM-KUSUM by stabilising rural feeders with distributed solar injection, improving voltage profiles, reducing technical losses, and enabling farmers to become energy prosumers who benefit from reduced irrigation costs and revenue generation through surplus power export under net-metering schemes.

MNRE has adopted the advance technology like IoT based SCADA for live data collection from Solar PV plants and Sub-station grid metering point using mobile internet / Cellular network (3G/4G/5G) and MQTT / API / FTP through secured interfaces to safeguard against Cyber security threat / attacks. This helps in effective management and maximum utilization of renewable energy generated from distributed system across India by State Level and National Level SEDM CMS platforms.

With more than 100 MW of PM-KUSUM solar assets already operational within our digital ecosystem and several additional PM-KUSUM projects of cumulative capacity of 400MW are actively progressing across India. EnerMAN continues to lead the technological evolution of decentralised clean energy infrastructure, delivering superior system reliability, deep analytics-driven insights, and long-term value that accelerates India’s transition toward sustainable, data-driven agricultural energy systems.
