ACWA Power Central Asia commemorated “Quality Month” at its ongoing Sazagan Solar project in Samarkand, reaffirming its commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
During the event, ACWA Power’s Sazagan Solar Project Director, Alimardon Abdukarimov, along with Senior Manager of Quality Assurance Avinash Pandey, emphasized that quality excellence is not merely a requirement, but “a way of life” within the organisation. They highlighted the importance of accountability, continuous improvement, and cultivating a robust quality-driven culture across all operational levels.
The programme also featured remarks from Abdul Hanif Khan, Head of EPC Quality Department, Project Company; and Jitendriya Mishra, PMP®, Project Director of EPC, L&T Renewables. A dedicated ‘Quality Quiz’ added an interactive element to the proceedings.
As part of the ceremony, outstanding contributors were recognised for exemplary performance. Tursunov Farkhodjon received the Quality Champion Award, while Abedalqader Amireh, PMP®, was honoured with the Quality Star Award. The Most Exemplary Supply Quality Award was presented to Voxid Khusanov. Additionally, L&T Renewables’ EPC team and subcontractor personnel received awards for operational excellence and substantial contributions to the project.
ACWA Power extended appreciation to all participating teams and reaffirmed its commitment to pursuing excellence and advancing progress at the Sazagan Solar facility.
