SJVN Achieves Commercial Operation Of 100.56 MW At Bikaner Solar Project In Rajasthan

SJVN Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise and a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Himachal Pradesh, has announced progress in its Bikaner Solar Power Project. The company informed the National Stock Exchange of India and BSE Limited about the latest development through an official communication dated December 13, 2025.

According to the disclosure, SJVN Green Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN, has achieved the Commercial Operation Date for an additional 100.56 MW of solar power capacity. This part of the project was declared commercially operational on December 12, 2025.

With this latest commissioning, the cumulative commissioned capacity of the Bikaner Solar Power Project has reached 830.70 MW. The project has a total planned capacity of 1,000 MW and is being developed in phases. SJVN stated that the remaining capacity is expected to be commissioned shortly, indicating that the project is nearing full completion.

The Bikaner Solar Power Project is being developed through SJVN Green Energy Limited as part of the companyโ€™s renewable energy expansion plans. The commissioning of additional capacity marks another step toward achieving the projectโ€™s full operational target.

SJVN clarified that the disclosure was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The information was formally submitted to the stock exchanges to keep investors and stakeholders informed about the projectโ€™s progress.

The achievement reflects steady advancement in the execution of the Bikaner Solar Power Project and highlights SJVNโ€™s ongoing efforts to increase its renewable energy portfolio through large-scale solar power developments.
