China’s Ningbo Party Secretary Wang Cheng Visits Ginlong Technologies, Underscores Innovation, R&D and Green Development

Wang Cheng, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Ningbo Municipal Party Committee, visited Ginlong Technologies Co., Ltd., leading a delegation to review the company’s progress in technological innovation and industrial development.

During the visit, Wang Cheng was accompanied by Ginlong Technologies’ founder and chairman, Wang Yiming. The delegation toured the company’s exhibition hall and research and development (R&D) centre laboratories, where they reviewed Ginlong’s efforts to promote the integration of emerging technologies and industries, as well as its initiatives to attract and cultivate innovative talent.

Wang Cheng praised Ginlong Technologies for its achievements as one of the world’s top three photovoltaic inverter manufacturers. He encouraged the company to continue increasing investment in innovation and R&D to strengthen its technological capabilities and support green and low-carbon development.

At the R&D centre, Wang inspected testing platforms for the sixth-generation photovoltaic inverters and energy storage inverters, with a focus on their performance under extreme environmental conditions. He also highlighted the importance of enterprise-led industry–university–research cooperation, stressing the need to accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into productive capacity.

During discussions, Wang Cheng underscored the role of enterprises as the main drivers of innovation. He called for deeper collaboration between industry, academia and research institutions, the development of an integrated innovation ecosystem encompassing large, medium and small enterprises, and proactive exploration of new industrial fields and growth areas. He also emphasised the need to further optimise the business environment through tailored policy support, improved enterprise services and effective policy implementation to promote high-quality development.

Looking ahead, Ginlong Technologies reaffirmed its commitment to advancing green development through technological innovation. Chairman Wang Yiming said the visit had further strengthened the company’s confidence in enhancing talent development and integrating technological and industrial innovation. He added that Ginlong aims to achieve new milestones during China’s 15th Five-Year Plan period.
