KLK Ventures Pvt. Ltd. has secured an order to deploy 1,000 solar water pumping systems across Maharashtra under the Government of Indiaโs PM KUSUM Yojana, marking a key milestone in the companyโs renewable energy portfolio.
The project involves the design, supply, and installation of solar pump systems with capacities of 3 horsepower (HP), 5 HP, and 7.5 HP. The systems are intended to provide farmers with reliable and cost-effective irrigation solutions, while reducing dependence on grid electricity and diesel-powered pumps.
KLK Ventures said the large-scale deployment will help improve energy access in rural areas and support sustainable agricultural practices. The initiative is also expected to enhance water security for farmers, lower irrigation-related operating costs, and contribute to Maharashtraโs clean energy and sustainability objectives.
Commenting on the development, Akshat Jain, Chief Executive Officer of KLK Ventures, said the order reflects the confidence placed in the companyโs technical expertise and execution capabilities. He added that the company remains committed to delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions that create long-term value for farming communities and other stakeholders.
With this project, KLK Ventures further strengthens its presence in Maharashtraโs solar infrastructure landscape and aligns with national efforts to promote solar adoption and empower the agricultural sector under flagship government programmes.
