IndianOil Petronas Pvt. Ltd. has invited bids through a public e-tender for designing, supplying, and installing dry-cleaning robots for solar PV modules at its LPG Import and Export Terminal in Haldia, West Bengal. The project is aimed at automating the cleaning and maintenance work of the solar infrastructure at the Kasberia facility. The contract period has been fixed at two months from the date the Letter of Award is issued to the selected bidder.
The company has set specific technical requirements that interested bidders must meet. To qualify, bidders need to have completed a similar type of work under a single work order within the past five years. IPPL will evaluate submissions based on these pre-qualification credentials. Applicants must provide self-attested documents such as past work orders and completion certificates to prove their experience. The company has also clarified that bids from consortiums will not be allowed, and all submissions must be made only through the government e-procurement portal.
The financial and compliance rules of the tender include an Earnest Money Deposit of โน19,000. Exemptions are permitted for MSME and NSIC-registered vendors as per government norms. Although the document mentions the EMD amount, it does not clearly specify a Performance Bank Guarantee requirement. However, bidders must meet strict compliance conditions related to GST registration, PAN card, EPF or PF details, and ESI, where applicable. Any bidder who fails to meet the mandatory Pre-Qualification Criteria will face rejection without further consideration.
The tender process follows a defined schedule beginning with the bid download and submission opening on January 8, 2026. A pre-bid meeting is planned for January 13, 2026, at 11 a.m. The last date for submitting proposals is January 20, 2026, at 3 p.m., and the bids will be opened the next day on January 21, 2026, at 3 p.m. The tender has been issued by the Electrical Department of the Haldia Terminal.
