Avaada Electro, the solar PV manufacturing arm of the Avaada Group, has been awarded the prestigious ‘Grade A’ classification in Wood Mackenzie’s H1 2025 Global Solar Module Manufacturer Rankings. This recognition is reserved for manufacturers that adhere to the highest global standards of quality, operational efficiency, and financial stability.

Wood Mackenzie’s rankings assess leading crystalline silicon solar PV module manufacturers worldwide. The Grade A category is awarded to companies that demonstrate robust operational performance, strong financial health, and long-term bankability. The evaluation considers multiple factors, including capacity utilisation, technology maturity, ESG performance, third-party certifications, financial stability, supply-chain resilience, vertical integration, R&D investment, and years of manufacturing experience. This classification serves as a key reference for developers, investors, banks, financial institutions, and procurement teams of asset owners in global solar markets.

Commenting on the achievement, Mr. Vineet Mittal, Chairman of the Avaada Group, said that the Grade A classification is a validation of Avaada Electro’s commitment to manufacturing excellence, operational discipline, and quality standards. Avaada Electro produces advanced N-Type TOPCon solar modules, which offer higher efficiency, enhanced durability, and superior performance across diverse operating conditions. The company currently operates 8.5 GW of solar PV module manufacturing capacity and has plans to expand further to meet the growing domestic and international demand. Its manufacturing facilities are designed for scalability, automation, and integration of future technological upgrades.

The company’s flagship manufacturing facility in Nagpur features high-speed production lines and a smart energy management system, achieving a Takt time of just 16 seconds.
