Under the MoU, KP Group plans to develop renewable energy projects with a combined capacity of approximately 855 MW. This includes a mix of solar power and wind-solar hybrid projects. The detailed plan mentions a 200 MW (DC) solar power project under the Distributed Renewable Energy Business Program (DREBP) scheme and for the captive user segment, a standalone 405 MW solar power project, and two Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected wind-solar hybrid projects totaling 250 MW. The projects are expected to be set up at multiple locations in Gujarat, including Kutch (Bhuj) and Devbhumi Dwarka.

The initiative is not only aimed at expanding renewable energy capacity but also at creating employment opportunities for more than 4,000 people. The projects will be executed in phases and are subject to obtaining necessary statutory approvals and clearances. The Government of Gujarat has assured support to KP Group by facilitating registrations and permissions required for project implementation through relevant state authorities.
