FTC Solar Strengthens Leadership Team With Appointment Of Wes Fuller As VP, North America Utility Sales

FTC Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: FTCI), a leading provider of solar tracker systems, software, and engineering services, announced the appointment of Wes Fuller as Vice President of North America Utility Sales. In this role, Fuller will report directly to Kent James, Chief Commercial Officer for North America. Kent James expressed confidence in the new appointment, noting that Fuller brings a strong background in commercial leadership across the renewable energy sector, including experience in trackers and energy storage.

He added that Fullerโ€™s industry knowledge, leadership skills, and established relationships will support the companyโ€™s efforts to expand its presence and deliver advanced tracker solutions to customers across the region.Fuller shared his enthusiasm about joining FTC Solar, highlighting the rapid growth in power demand and the importance of innovative technologies in meeting industry needs. He stated that FTC Solarโ€™s focus on constructability and its strong product portfolio were key factors that drew him to the role.

Fuller added that he looks forward to working with the team to help customers improve site design, optimize labor usage, and support growing market requirements.With more than 15 years of commercial and engineering experience, Fuller brings extensive expertise to FTC Solar. Before joining the company, he served as Global Head of Sales at Energy Vault, a developer of utility-scale energy storage solutions.

He previously held the role of Head of Sales for Powin, where he led sales activities across North America and managed strategic initiatives. Fuller also spent four years with Sunfolding, a solar tracker supplier, serving as Head of Sales and Strategic Partnerships. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Schneider Electric, Ampt LLC, and Siemens. Fuller holds bachelorโ€™s degrees in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University.
