LNK Energy, a next-generation integrated clean energy platform, officially launched its operations today with an initial investment of ₹10,000 crore over the next five years. The company, backed by experienced entrepreneurs and long-term capital vision, will operate across advanced manufacturing, green fuels, and renewable energy generation.
The company announced its first flagship project—a 6 GW solar cell and module manufacturing facility with integrated ingot and wafer production—spread over 60 acres in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. LNK Energy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra government for the project.
Founding Team and Vision
LNK Energy is co-founded by Paritosh Ladhani, Joint Managing Director of SLMG Beverages, India’s largest Coca-Cola bottler; Dr. Kushagra Nandan, Co-Founder, Chairman, and MD of REnergy Dynamics (RED), and former MD of SunSource Energy; and Varun Karad, BioEnergy Entrepreneur and Co-Founder and CEO of RED.
The leadership emphasized that LNK Energy aims to support sustainable growth, responsible industrial development, and long-term energy security for India.
Integrated Energy Strategy
The company’s strategy focuses on end-to-end participation across the energy value chain, deployment of advanced technologies, disciplined long-term capital allocation, and alignment with India’s clean-energy and manufacturing ambitions.
The initial solar manufacturing facility will produce high-efficiency solar cells and modules using world-class technologies and practices. Over time, LNK Energy plans to expand production into related components, including junction boxes, battery platforms, and energy storage systems, fostering a robust domestic clean-energy ecosystem.
Expansion into Green Fuels and Renewable Energy Generation
Following the establishment of its manufacturing base, LNK Energy plans to enter the green fuels sector, with a focus on green hydrogen to decarbonize hard-to-abate industries. Additionally, the company will develop a renewable energy generation portfolio, operating as an Independent Power Producer (IPP) and through hybrid open access solutions that integrate solar, storage, and other renewable sources.
Founders’ Statements
Paritosh Ladhani said, “Having built large, complex manufacturing and supply-chain businesses over decades, we strongly believe that scale, quality, and execution discipline are non-negotiable. LNK Energy brings that same institutional mindset to clean energy manufacturing, with a commitment to global standards.”
Dr. Kushagra Nandan added, “At a time when energy security, industrial self-reliance, and decarbonisation are national priorities, LNK Energy has been conceived as a long-term institution rather than a short-cycle opportunity. We plan to combine scale, technology depth, and capital discipline to build long-term value.”
Varun Karad remarked, “The future of energy lies in integration—where manufacturing, green fuels, and renewable power work together. LNK Energy is structured to address this convergence, using advanced technologies to deliver reliable, scalable, and sustainable energy solutions.”
Leadership and Governance
LNK Energy is promoted by entrepreneurs with proven expertise across renewable energy, large-scale manufacturing, and diversified businesses. Their experience in raising institutional capital, executing projects across geographies, and delivering successful investor exits underscores the company’s focus on governance, disciplined execution, and long-term impact.
