NTPC Green Energy Limited has invited domestic competitive bids for the supply of 7,000 solar photovoltaic module panels. These modules will be used at solar power stations located in Bilhaur in Uttar Pradesh and at multiple sites in Rajasthan, including Fatehgarh, Jaitsar, and Shimbhoo ki Burj. The solar modules required for the project must be crystalline silicon terrestrial modules with a power rating of 340Wp. Only established PV module manufacturers are allowed to participate, and they must hold a valid BIS license for modules rated 250Wp or higher as of the technical bid opening date. Only Class 1 and Class 2 local suppliers can participate, and Micro and Small Enterprises with valid Udyam Registration are eligible for specific purchase preferences and exemptions from the Earnest Money Deposit.
