ACME Solar Elevates Yogesh Kumar Sanklecha as Head of Business Development

ACME Solar Holdings Ltd (ACME Solar) has elevated Yogesh Kumar Sanklecha as Head of Business Development and designated him as Senior Management Personnel, effective January 15, 2026, based on the recommendation of the company’s Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

In his new role, Sanklecha will head all commercial functions of the ACME Solar Group, overseeing business development and end-to-end commercial operations.

Sanklecha is an MBA Gold Medallist and has been associated with the ACME Group for more than 25 years. Over the course of his career with the group, he has held several leadership positions across diverse functions and has played a key role in shaping the organisation’s growth trajectory.

At ACME Solar in recent years, he has led multiple strategic initiatives and contributed significantly to the expansion of the company’s renewable energy business. The company said his strong commercial acumen and deep sectoral understanding have been instrumental in driving growth.

As Head of Business Development and Commercial functions, Sanklecha is expected to play a critical role in supporting ACME Solar’s growth strategy, including its target of achieving 10 GW of installed capacity by 2030. He will continue to be responsible for end-to-end stakeholder management, spanning project bidding through to commissioning, as part of the company’s senior leadership team.
