The New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd (NREDCAP) has awarded a Letter of Award (LOA) to M/s Sadbhav Futuretech Limited for the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and five-year operation & maintenance of 64.50 MWp grid-connected rooftop solar (RTS) plants.
The project will serve 32,249 SC and ST consumers under the PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana through utility-led aggregation (CAPEX) mode in APDISCOMs. The initiative is part of a larger program covering 1,198.21 MWp of rooftop solar capacity for nearly 5,99,105 SC and ST beneficiaries across Andhra Pradesh.
NREDCAP conducted a detailed bidding process, including tender notices, e-tender requests, and CAPEX rate negotiations. Following this process, the joint venture (JV) of Sadbhav Futuretech was identified as the successful bidder. The project will not only expand rooftop solar adoption but also provide long-term, clean energy solutions to rural and underserved communities in the state.
The awarded project includes:
- Design and engineering of 64.50 MWp grid-connected rooftop solar plants.
- Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the plants.
- Five-year operation and maintenance (O&M) period ensuring system efficiency and reliability.
This milestone underscores Andhra Pradesh’s commitment to promoting renewable energy access for marginalized communities, while accelerating the state’s transition toward sustainable and decentralized electricity generation.
