SolarEdge Technologies, a global leader in smart energy technology, has announced an important milestone in its international manufacturing and export strategy with the shipment of single-phase residential inverter products from its Austin, Texas facility to several key European markets. The company began exporting its first US-manufactured Single SKU residential inverters to Europe in late 2025, with initial shipments reaching customers in Italy, France, and the Netherlands. Shipments of commercial and industrial solar products from SolarEdgeโs Florida facility are expected to begin in early 2026, further expanding the companyโs international reach.
Central to this milestone is SolarEdgeโs innovative single SKU concept, known in Europe as the MultiRange approach. This concept consolidates all power classes into a single inverter and part number, greatly simplifying logistics, inventory management, and installation processes for customers and partners. The single SKU design will also be featured in the upcoming SolarEdge Nexis solution, which supports both single-phase and three-phase residential applications. Looking ahead, future inverter models for the commercial and industrial segment will also adopt a reduced SKU strategy to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Pascal de Boer, General Manager for Europe at SolarEdge, commented on the achievement, saying that the shipments reflect the companyโs commitment to delivering high-quality, US-manufactured products to customers worldwide. He noted that the single SKU solution combines power, intelligence, and simplicity, helping installers and distributors reduce complexity while increasing flexibility. According to de Boer, these capabilities are particularly important in fast-evolving solar markets and represent a significant step toward accelerating SolarEdgeโs growth in Europe.
SolarEdgeโs residential inverter systems are designed with backup-ready functionality and include the SolarEdge ONE Energy Management System to support energy storage. They also offer integration for electric vehicle charging and other smart energy features, along with support for grid services, making them future-ready for evolving energy needs.
The expansion of US-based production for international markets builds on SolarEdgeโs earlier export achievements, which began with initial shipments to Australia in the third quarter of 2025. With these ongoing efforts, SolarEdge continues to strengthen its global presence while providing innovative, simplified, and flexible energy solutions to customers around the world.
