Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) participated in the inaugural session of the Odisha Renewable Energy Investor Conclave 2026 held in Bhubaneswar on 12 February 2026, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening the state’s clean energy ecosystem.
Addressing the gathering as Guest of Honour, SECI Managing Director Shri Akash Tripathi highlighted the agency’s role in enabling renewable energy deployment across states through bankable procurement frameworks, innovative renewable energy models and robust market mechanisms. The session was attended by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, Sh. K. V. Singhdeo.
Senior state leadership was also present at the conclave, including Sh. Vishal Dev, IAS (Additional Chief Secretary – Energy), Dr. Satyapriya Rath, Managing Director of GRIDCO, and Sh. Bhaskar Jyoti Sharma, IAS, Chairman and Managing Director of Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL). Their participation underscored Odisha’s institutional focus on accelerating renewable energy capacity addition and grid strengthening initiatives.
As India’s premier renewable energy implementing agency, SECI reiterated its commitment to supporting states such as Odisha in expanding reliable, resilient and long-term green power infrastructure, contributing to the nation’s broader clean energy transition goals.
