ReNew Energy Global Plc Reports Strong Q3 FY26 Results; 9M Profit Jumps 6.6x YoY

ReNew Energy Global Plc has reported a sharp rise in earnings for the third quarter of FY26, with net profit for the first nine months of the fiscal increasing 6.6 times year-on-year.

For Q3 FY26 ended December 31, 2025, the company posted total income of ₹31,372 million (US$349 million), up from ₹21,198 million in the corresponding quarter last year. Net loss for the quarter narrowed significantly to ₹198 million, compared to a loss of ₹3,879 million in Q3 FY25. Adjusted EBITDA rose to ₹21,381 million from ₹13,882 million a year earlier.

During the first nine months of FY26, total income stood at ₹111,087 million, compared to ₹75,911 million in the same period last year. Net profit surged to ₹9,608 million from ₹1,454 million, while Adjusted EBITDA increased to ₹74,840 million from ₹57,070 million.

As of December 31, 2025, ReNew’s total portfolio reached approximately 19.2 GW, including 1.5 GW of battery energy storage systems (BESS), compared to 17.4 GW a year earlier. Commissioned capacity grew 7% year-on-year to around 11.4 GW, with an additional 240 MW commissioned subsequently.

The company’s solar module and cell manufacturing business also saw strong growth, contributing ₹30,014 million in external sales revenue during the first nine months of FY26, sharply higher than ₹3,459 million in the previous year period.

ReNew reiterated its FY26 guidance, expecting to complete construction of 1.8–2.4 GW by year-end and projecting Adjusted EBITDA of ₹90–93 billion and cash flow to equity of ₹14–17 billion.
