KEC International Secures Rs 1,002 Crore in New Orders, Strengthens Transmission & Distribution Portfolio with Major 220/132 kV and 400 kV Transmission Projects

KEC International Ltd., a global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) major and part of the RPG Group, has secured new orders worth Rs 1,002 crore across its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Cables & Conductors businesses.

In the Transmission & Distribution segment, the company has won a composite order in India involving 220/132 kV transmission lines, substations, and Extra High Voltage (EHV) cabling. Additionally, KEC has secured an order for a 400 kV transmission line in the international market. The business has also received orders for the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas.

Under its Cables & Conductors segment, the company has bagged orders for the supply of various types of cables and conductors across domestic and overseas markets.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and CEO of KEC International Ltd., said the company is pleased with the new order wins, particularly in the T&D business. He noted that the composite order in India has significantly strengthened the companyโ€™s T&D order book and further diversified its customer mix within the domestic T&D portfolio.

With these latest wins, the companyโ€™s year-to-date order intake has reached approximately Rs 21,300 crore, reinforcing its strong market position in the infrastructure EPC space.
