Bhaskar Jyoti India Private Limited has commissioned a 1.4 MW grid-connected rooftop solar power project at the facilities of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh, marking a significant step in integrating clean energy solutions within large public sector infrastructure.
NCL operates as a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, and the newly commissioned rooftop installation has been deployed across multiple locations within its premises. The project was executed on a comprehensive engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis, covering design, engineering, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning.
The solar system has been engineered to ensure efficient energy generation, seamless integration with the existing electrical infrastructure and long-term operational reliability. In addition to project execution, Bhaskar Jyoti India Private Limited has been awarded the operation and maintenance (O&M) contract, reinforcing its role in ensuring sustained system performance and optimal energy output.
Commenting on the development, Nitesh Gupta, Managing Director of Bhaskar Jyoti India Private Limited, stated that the successful commissioning reflects the companyโs execution capabilities and its commitment to delivering dependable renewable energy solutions. He added that being entrusted with both EPC execution and long-term O&M underscores client confidence in the companyโs technical expertise and performance-driven approach.
The rooftop solar project aligns with NCLโs broader sustainability initiatives, contributing to reduced carbon emissions and promoting the productive utilisation of rooftop infrastructure for clean energy generation.
