TrueRE Oriana Power has announced a strategic partnership with V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, to explore collaboration across emerging clean energy pathways and support the portโs transition toward sustainable energy infrastructure.
Under the partnership framework, both entities will evaluate opportunities in advanced decarbonization technologies, including Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS), as well as the development of facilities for e-ammonia and e-methanol. The collaboration also outlines plans to assess the establishment of a green methanol production facility and strengthen readiness for green methanol bunkering operations at the port.
The partnership further aims to support the port authorityโs carbon-neutrality ambitions while enabling the export of green hydrogen derivatives from the port, positioning it as a key hub for future clean fuel supply chains.
For TrueRE Oriana Power, the collaboration represents a significant step in advancing its long-term strategy of developing reliable and future-ready clean energy infrastructure. The initiative aligns with the companyโs broader commitment to accelerating Indiaโs energy transition through technical expertise, disciplined execution, and strategic industry partnerships.
