Hinen will present its latest range of residential and commercial energy-storage solutions at Solar & Storage Live Africa 2026, scheduled for 25–27 March 2026 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre. Exhibiting at Booth H5-G46 together with its South African distributor, SOLAR ENERGY DISTRIBUTOR, the company will showcase systems designed to address South Africa’s persistent energy challenges, including load-shedding, rising electricity costs and the growing need for reliable, independent power for homes and businesses.
Among the products making their debut in South Africa is the N3300S off-grid inverter paired with the B2560 low-voltage battery. This combination provides an affordable and practical backup option for households and small shops dealing with frequent outages. The N3300S features a compact build, pure sine-wave output, integrated MPPT and user-configurable solar or grid priority modes. With a fast 10-millisecond transition to off-grid mode and intelligent load management, it ensures smooth operation of essential appliances such as lighting, refrigeration, routers and security systems during power interruptions.
Its compatibility with diesel generators, including automatic start and stop functions, makes it well-suited for South Africa, where hybrid solar-diesel setups remain common. The B2560 battery can be expanded from 2.5kWh to 15kWh, supporting a wide range of user needs, and its wide operating-temperature tolerance makes it suitable for diverse African climates. High charge and discharge capabilities, multi-layer protection and real-time monitoring through the Hinen app add to the system’s safety and convenience. Together, these features make the N3300S + B2560 system a cost-effective choice for first-time solar users seeking dependable backup power.
Hinen will also introduce a high-power hybrid solution designed for larger households, farms and small commercial properties: the H12000S single-phase hybrid inverter combined with the B16000 low-voltage battery. This system supports three MPPTs and allows up to 150% PV oversizing, enabling users to capture more solar power during peak sunshine periods. Its 240A charge and discharge performance ensures fast battery replenishment and the capability to operate heavy-load appliances such as borehole pumps, air-conditioning units and workshop equipment.
The inverter supports parallel operation of up to six units, offering a combined output of up to 72kW, making it adaptable for residential estates or light-commercial sites. Generator compatibility provides additional security during extended outages. The B16000 battery offers expandable storage from 16kWh to 96kWh, suitable for whole-home backup, and its space-efficient, high-density design makes installation easier. With strong peak-current performance, advanced safety mechanisms and app-based remote monitoring, the system is engineered for reliability, scalability and intelligent energy management.
In addition to these flagship offerings, Hinen will display a wide portfolio of solutions catering to residential, commercial and portable-power applications. These include the H15000T three-phase hybrid inverter, B10000 battery, H6000-EU + B5000 hybrid system, H6000-OG + BP5000 off-grid system, the A Series H15S all-in-one energy-storage system and portable units such as the PS 1800 Pro, PS 3000, PS 2500B extra battery and the Smart Box S2. With this extensive lineup, Hinen aims to provide flexible, durable and cost-efficient options that help South African users strengthen their energy resilience and reduce reliance on the national grid.
