Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited has secured a new order worth around ₹31 crore from Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) for the supply of advanced power transmission conductors. The order highlights the continued expansion of transmission infrastructure required to support India’s rapidly growing renewable energy sector.

According to the company’s regulatory filing, the contract involves the supply of approximately 869 kilometers of AL-59 Eco Conductors. These high-performance conductors are designed to improve transmission efficiency and increase the capacity of power lines, making them suitable for renewable energy evacuation projects.

The company stated that the order will be executed within a period of four months from the date of the purchase order. The conductors will be deployed in renewable energy transmission projects across multiple states, including Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Karnataka.

The contract further strengthens Diamond Power Infrastructure’s presence in the power transmission and distribution equipment market, where demand is rising due to the expansion of solar and wind energy projects across India. Efficient transmission networks are critical for integrating renewable energy generation into the national grid and ensuring reliable electricity delivery.
