Saatvik Green Energy Limited, one of Indiaโs fastest-growing fully integrated renewable energy companies listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), has announced the incorporation of its wholly owned subsidiary, Saatvik Power Storage Solutions Limited, to strengthen its presence in the renewable energy and energy storage sector.
The newly formed entity will focus on the development and deployment of advanced battery technologies and energy storage systems aimed at supporting renewable energy integration and grid stability. The move forms part of Saatvikโs broader strategy to build a future-ready clean energy platform that combines solar power generation with integrated storage solutions.
According to the company, the subsidiary plans to explore opportunities to develop up to 20 GW of energy storage capacity over the next five years. The initiative is expected to support grid reliability and accelerate renewable energy adoption across key markets. The company also intends to introduce a wide portfolio of battery and storage solutions designed for utility-scale projects, commercial and industrial (C&I) applications, as well as retail and residential segments.
Commenting on the development, Prashant Mathur, CEO of Saatvik Green Energy Limited, said energy storage will be essential for enabling the next phase of renewable energy growth. He noted that the incorporation of the new subsidiary reflects the companyโs long-term vision of building a comprehensive clean energy ecosystem that integrates solar manufacturing, EPC capabilities, and advanced storage technologies. He added that the move will position the company to contribute to Indiaโs transition toward reliable, round-the-clock renewable power.
The subsidiary has been incorporated with an authorised capital of โน10,00,000, divided into 1,00,000 equity shares of โน10 each, with 100% shareholding held by Saatvik Green Energy Limited.
The establishment of Saatvik Power Storage Solutions Limited reinforces the companyโs focus on innovation and technology-driven growth, while supporting Indiaโs accelerating deployment of renewable energy capacity backed by grid-scale and distributed energy storage systems.
