Waaree Energies Limited has announced the completion of its previously disclosed acquisition of equity in United Solar Holding Inc., marking a strategic expansion of its international footprint.
According to a regulatory filing, Waaree’s wholly owned subsidiary, Waaree Solar Americas Inc, has acquired 5,368,551 Series B preferred shares of United Solar Holding Inc. for a total consideration of approximately $30 million.
The company confirmed that it received official intimation regarding the completion of the transaction on March 16, 2026.
The acquisition follows an earlier disclosure made in December 2025 and aligns with Waaree Energies’ broader strategy to strengthen its presence in global solar markets.
The company stated that further details regarding the transaction are available on its official website and that the development has been formally communicated to stock exchanges, including the BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited.
The move underscores Waaree’s continued focus on expanding its renewable energy portfolio and enhancing its position in the global solar industry.
