Shell Energy Philippines (SEPH) has entered into a 15-year renewable energy supply agreement with Minebea Mitsumi Philippines, marking a significant step in supporting the companyโs transition to clean energy across its operations.
Under the long-term partnership, SEPH will leverage its global expertise in power marketing and trading to supply renewable energy to Minebea Mitsumiโs key facilities located in Santo Tomas, Batangas; Mariveles, Bataan; Danao City, Cebu; and the City of Naga, Cebu.
The agreement represents a major milestone in advancing renewable energy adoption within the Philippinesโ manufacturing sector. It is expected to enable Minebea Mitsumi Philippines to progressively shift towards operating on sustainable energy, while reducing its carbon footprint across multiple production sites.
SEPH, part of the broader Shell plc network, highlighted that the partnership aligns with its long-standing presence in the Philippines and its commitment to supporting large-scale energy transition initiatives.
