In a strategic move to expand India’s distributed solar capacity, AB Energia Solutions Pvt Ltd has unveiled Arkannect, a comprehensive rooftop solar platform targeting residential consumers and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Industry analysts note that the initiative is poised to address long-standing market challenges such as fragmented service delivery and limited consumer financing options.
The Arkannect platform offers a fully integrated solution encompassing consultation, system design, installation, financing, and ongoing maintenance. Leveraging digital tools, including a mobile application for real-time monitoring, AB Energia aims to provide a seamless end-to-end customer experience. The company has also partnered with a network of local channel partners to ensure high-quality execution across Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
Sagar Saxena, CEO of Arkannect, emphasized that the platform is designed to reduce adoption barriers and build trust in the rooftop solar segment. “With Arkannect, we aim to make solar energy accessible, reliable, and financially viable for households and MSMEs alike,” he stated.
Experts highlight that AB Energia’s move reflects a broader trend among EPC players to enter consumer-centric distributed energy markets, leveraging their engineering expertise while tapping into India’s fast-growing residential solar sector, which is projected to see robust CAGR over the next five years.
The company’s expansion plan aligns with India’s clean energy transition objectives, targeting both enhanced distributed solar penetration and greater grid decentralization. Financial projections shared by AB Energia indicate potential revenue growth in the ₹700–1,000 crore range as the platform scales nationwide.
With the launch of Arkannect, AB Energia is positioning itself as a key enabler in India’s decentralized renewable energy ecosystem, providing both technological innovation and operational reliability to accelerate adoption of clean energy solutions.
