Levanta Renewables has signed project finance agreements with Kasikornbank and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation for the debt refinancing of its 93 MWp operational solar portfolio in Thailand, known as the Daisy Solar Portfolio.
The financing follows the successful acquisition of the portfolio and is aimed at optimizing the capital structure of the operating assets. The transaction marks Levanta Renewables’ third long-term financing arrangement in Thailand, reinforcing its strategic expansion and sustained growth in the region’s renewable energy sector.
The development highlights continued investor confidence in Southeast Asia’s solar market, particularly in operational asset refinancing, which is increasingly becoming a key lever for scaling renewable energy portfolios.
