Samaiden Completes Advanced Solar Project For Nippon Electric Glass Using Rooftop And BIPV Technology

Renewable energy specialist Samaiden Group Bhd has successfully completed a complex solar photovoltaic (PV) project for Nippon Electric Glass (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (NEGM). The project highlights Samaiden’s strong capabilities in engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC), especially for large corporate clients looking to shift toward clean energy.

What makes this installation different is the use of two solar technologies in one system. It combines traditional rooftop solar panels with building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV). While rooftop panels are installed on top of buildings, BIPV replaces standard construction materials like roofs or walls and generates electricity at the same time.
