Aura Power Receives Approval for 25-MW Solar Farm in England, Strengthening UK Clean Energy Pipeline Amid Net-Zero Push

Aura Power has received planning approval to construct a 25-MW solar farm in England, marking another addition to its growing pipeline of utility-scale solar projects in the United Kingdom.

The approval enables the company to move forward with development of the ground-mounted photovoltaic project, which is expected to contribute to the UK’s broader clean energy transition and decarbonisation goals.

The project forms part of Aura Power’s expanding UK solar portfolio, which includes multiple mid-sized solar farms designed to supply renewable electricity to the national grid while supporting biodiversity improvements and local community benefit initiatives.

The development comes as the UK government continues to accelerate solar deployment targets under its long-term strategy to increase renewable capacity and reduce reliance on fossil fuels.

Once operational, the 25-MW facility is expected to add to the country’s distributed solar generation base and support regional energy security amid rising electricity demand and grid flexibility requirements.
