Premier Energies Ranked Among Top 25 Global Solar PV Module Manufacturers by Wood Mackenzie

Premier Energies Limited, one of India’s leading integrated solar manufacturers, has been recognised among the Top 25 Global and Top 3 Indian Grade A Solar PV Module Manufacturers in the 2026 Global Solar PV Module Manufacturer Ranking released by Wood Mackenzie.

The recognition highlights Premier Energies’ expanding global footprint, manufacturing excellence, technological capabilities, and reliability as a solar PV module supplier.

Wood Mackenzie evaluated 48 solar module manufacturers across 10 countries, representing approximately 65% of global production capacity and 83% of worldwide module shipments. The assessment was based on multiple criteria, including capacity utilisation, technology maturity, financial performance, supply chain resilience, ESG standards, product reliability, and research and development capabilities.

The Grade A classification serves as an independent benchmark for developers, procurement teams, and asset owners seeking reliable solar module suppliers.

Premier Energies currently operates an annual solar PV module manufacturing capacity of 11.1 GW and is expected to expand its solar cell manufacturing capacity to 10.6 GW later this year. The company is also implementing a ₹12,500 crore capital expenditure programme aimed at strengthening upstream solar manufacturing capabilities and expanding into adjacent clean energy segments such as inverters, batteries, and transformers.
