On June 28, 2026, AGEL informed the stock exchanges that its wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Eight Limited, had commissioned a 150 MW solar power project. The decision to start commercial operations was taken on the night of June 27 after receiving the required approvals. Following the commissioning of the project, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy generation capacity increased to 19,985.8 MW. At the same time, the company’s operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity stood at 3,366 MWh.

A few days later, on July 1, 2026, AGEL announced another round of project commissioning at Khavda through its stepdown subsidiaries. This included a 156 MW wind power project developed by Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A Limited. The company also commissioned an 185 MWh Battery Energy Storage System project through Adani Renewable Energy Forty Three Limited. According to the filing, the decision to begin commercial operations for both projects was taken on the night of June 30 after all necessary clearances were received.
