Pace Digitek has secured a contract for the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a 250 MW/500 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project at Maithan, Jharkhand.
The contract also includes 12 years of comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) services, covering the long-term performance and reliability of the energy storage facility.
The company said the project is expected to strengthen India’s power infrastructure by supporting the integration of renewable energy into the grid, improving grid reliability, and enhancing overall power system resilience.
Battery energy storage systems are increasingly being deployed across India to provide grid flexibility, balance variable renewable energy generation, and support the country’s growing clean energy capacity.
Pace Digitek said the project aligns with its commitment to delivering innovative and reliable energy solutions while contributing to India’s transition toward a more sustainable and resilient energy ecosystem.
