Industry stakeholders convene in Indore for an evening focused on solar technology, project financing, collaboration and the future of renewable energy
Vikram Solar one of India’s leading solar PV module manufacturers, hosted the Indore edition of Power Connect 2026, bringing together over 140 industry stakeholders, solar professionals, business leaders, technology experts and ecosystem partners for an evening of meaningful conversations, knowledge exchange and business networking.
Power Conneсt 2026 serves as a platform for stakeholders across the renewable energy ecosystem to сonneсt, exсhange perspectives and explore opportunities shaping India’s сlean energy transition.
The Indore edition brought the industry’s attention to key areas inсluding solar technology and innovation, Vikram Solar’s manufacturing and business journey, renewable energy project developments, modes of project financing, and the growing opportunities across India’s solar ecosystem.

Connecting the Solar Ecosystem with Technology and Innovation
Since 2005, Vikram Solar has built a global footprint spanning 39 countries, delivering over 10 GW of solar modules to markets worldwide. This scale is matched by a relentless focus on innovation, ensuring the company stays ahead of the curve as the world accelerates its shift to cleaner energy. Technology and innovation were, fittingly, at the heart of the Power Connect programme.
A dedicated technical session gave participants a close look at the engineering excellence behind Vikram Solar’s solutions, tracing the evolution of module technology and underscoring why efficiency and performance will define the next phase of renewable energy deployment.
The session gave industry stakeholders a front-row view of the innovations shaping the solar sector, and the critical role advanced technology plays in powering India’s clean energy ambitions.
Strengthening the Renewable Energy Ecosystem
The programme also featured an industry-focused address, offering a sharp perspective on the evolving renewable energy landscape and the opportunities taking shape across the sector.
As India’s renewable energy ambitions accelerate, collaboration between manufacturers, developers, consultants, financial institutions and other ecosystem stakeholders becomes ever more critical – the bridge between clean energy targets and projects that actually get built.
Power Connect brought these stakeholders together, creating space to engage directly and address the opportunities and challenges shaping the industry’s next phase of growth.
The Role of Financing in Solar Project Development
A dedicated session by AU Bank, focused on “How Banks Can Facilitate Project Funding,” brought financing to the center of the renewable energy conversation.
As renewable energy projects scale in size and complexity, access to the right financing solutions has become a critical enabler of project development. The session explored the role financial institutions can play in supporting businesses and project stakeholders as India’s clean energy infrastructure continues to expand.
Powering Partnerships for the Future
The Indore edition of Power Connect 2026 reinforced the importance of creating platforms that bring together the different stakeholders driving India’s renewable energy transition.
From manufacturing and technology to project development and finanсing, the continued growth of India’s solar sector will depend on stronger collaboration across the value chain.
Through Power Connect 2026, Vikram Solar continues to engage with the wider renewable energy ecosystem, creating opportunities for dialogue, knowledge exchange and partnerships that can contribute to the country’s clean energy ambitions.
