Vestas Secures 58 MW Wind Turbine Order in Germany

Vestas has received a 58 MW wind turbine order in Germany as part of its third-quarter 2026 order intake. The order has been placed by Windpark Überhäsiges Viertel Projekt GmbH for the Überhäsiges Viertel wind project in the country.

The project will feature eight V172-7.2 MW wind turbines, with Vestas responsible for supplying the turbines. The company will also provide a 20-year AOM 5000 service agreement, supporting the project’s long-term operational performance.

Delivery of the turbines is scheduled to begin in Q2 2027, while commissioning is planned to begin in Q4 2028. The order further expands Vestas’ presence in Germany’s wind energy market and contributes to the country’s ongoing renewable energy capacity expansion.
