Inox Solar Americas LLC has signed an 800 MW photovoltaic (PV) module supply agreement with a U.S.-based renewable energy developer for two utility-scale solar projects in Colorado and Georgia.
Under the agreement, Inox Solar Americas will supply modules for projects with capacities of approximately 300 MW and 500 MW. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2027. The developer was not named.
The projects will use Inox Solar Americas’ Vega Series bifacial PV modules powered by Galaxion PV cells. The company said the modules are designed for utility-scale applications and support high levels of U.S. domestic content.
The agreement follows a separate 767 MW PV module supply agreement announced by Inox Solar Americas last week with another U.S. solar developer. The two agreements together represent approximately 1.57 GW of PV module supply commitments.
Inox Solar Americas said the agreements reflect increasing demand among U.S. utility-scale solar developers for domestic manufacturing, supply-chain traceability and compliance with evolving U.S. trade and energy policies.
Focus on U.S. Manufacturing and Supply Chain
The company is developing its U.S. manufacturing and sourcing operations to address requirements related to Prohibited Foreign Entities (PFE), Foreign Entities of Concern (FEOC), domestic content and supply-chain traceability.
Its strategy includes supplier qualification, increased domestic sourcing and component-level traceability to support project compliance and supply-chain management.
Ashok Nair, President and CEO of Inox Solar Americas, said the 800 MW agreement reflects growing demand for domestic PV manufacturing and modules that meet the technical, commercial and regulatory requirements of large-scale U.S. solar projects.
The Vega Series modules are bifacial products intended for utility-scale applications, with the company citing high power output, energy-yield potential and long-term durability.
Inox Solar Americas Expands U.S. Manufacturing
Inox Solar Americas was established in the United States in 2026 and focuses on monocrystalline PV cells and PV modules for residential, commercial, industrial, community solar and utility-scale applications.
The company acquired Boviet Solar’s U.S. PV manufacturing assets in Greenville, North Carolina. The facility has 3 GW of annual PV module manufacturing capacity, while 3 GW of planned annual PV cell manufacturing capacity is expected to come online in 2027.
Inox Solar Americas is part of the renewable energy platform of Inox Clean Energy and the INOXGFL Group, which is headquartered in India.
The latest agreement adds to the company’s contracted U.S. module supply pipeline as it expands its domestic manufacturing and sourcing operations.
