Kshema Power has commissioned two dedicated in-house batching plants in Madhya Pradesh to strengthen its renewable energy project execution capabilities and ensure a reliable supply of concrete for wind turbine foundation construction.
The facilities are intended to improve construction efficiency, quality control, and schedule adherence by reducing the company’s dependence on external concrete suppliers.
In-House Batching Infrastructure for Wind Projects
Wind turbine foundation construction requires large volumes of concrete to be delivered within specific timeframes to maintain structural quality and prevent delays. Projects located in remote or geographically dispersed areas can face challenges related to supplier availability, transportation, and consistency in concrete supply.
Kshema Power said its dedicated batching plants will allow concrete production to be brought closer to project sites and managed directly by the company. This is expected to improve supply reliability and provide greater control over the timing and quality of concrete required for turbine foundations.
The in-house facilities will also enable the company to coordinate material procurement, concrete production, transportation, manpower, and equipment deployment according to individual project schedules.
Targeting 10 Wind Turbine Foundations Per Month
The batching plants are expected to support faster foundation construction by enabling uninterrupted concrete casting operations. Kshema Power is targeting the completion of up to 10 wind turbine foundations per month through the enhanced execution capability.
The company said in-house production will also provide greater control over material handling, mix preparation, batching, and quality monitoring, helping ensure that concrete supplied for turbine foundations meets project specifications.

Our dedicated in-house batching plant strengthens our supply chain resilience by reducing dependency on external suppliers and giving us greater control over the availability, quality, and timely supply of concrete.”
He added that the new capability is expected to support the company’s target of completing 10 wind turbine foundations every month and improve the speed and reliability of renewable energy project execution.
Strengthening Renewable Energy EPC Execution
The commissioning of the batching plants adds dedicated construction infrastructure to Kshema Power’s renewable energy project execution operations. By managing concrete production internally, the company aims to improve coordination between material supply and foundation construction while reducing potential delays arising from external supply constraints.
Kshema Power said the investment will support its efforts to scale renewable energy project execution in India while improving supply-chain resilience, construction predictability, quality control, and schedule adherence.
