Hoymiles has announced the successful commissioning and operation of a 7 MW solar project in Gaya, Bihar, under the PM-KUSUM initiative. Developed by Nav Dharam Energy, the project is equipped with 20 units of Hoymiles’ 350 kW HINV350HX-G2 string inverters, with Sun Solista supplying the inverter solutions.
The solar installation is designed to feed clean electricity into the grid while supporting power availability for agricultural activities, including irrigation. The project marks a significant deployment of high-capacity string inverter technology within Bihar’s expanding PM-KUSUM solar landscape.
The HINV350HX-G2 inverter solution was selected for the project based on key considerations including reliability, efficiency, suitability for utility-scale applications and service support. The plant also incorporates real-time remote monitoring capabilities, enabling operators to track power generation and overall system performance.
Designed to operate under varying environmental and grid conditions, the inverter technology supports stable and efficient plant operations while addressing the requirements of large-scale solar installations.
Through the Gaya project, Hoymiles is further strengthening its presence in India’s utility-scale solar market while supporting the deployment of renewable energy solutions under the PM-KUSUM programme, which aims to expand solar energy adoption across the country’s agricultural sector.
