Three leadership panels and two exclusive closed-door roundtables will connect market strategy with practical action across Thailand’s clean-energy value chain.
Thailand Clean Energy Week 2026 will bring together policymakers, utilities, renewable-energy developers, investors, financiers, EPC companies, technology providers, corporate energy users and sustainability leaders on 13 November 2026 at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium, Bangkok.
Now entering its fourth edition, the event will provide a focused platform for addressing the commercial, technical and financial priorities influencing Thailand’s evolving energy landscape. Discussions will extend across utility-scale renewable energy, battery storage, distributed solar, corporate decarbonisation, project development and green finance.
The programme will feature three strategic panel discussions supported by two exclusive closed-door leadership roundtables. Together, these sessions will connect high-level market priorities with the practical challenges of developing, financing, constructing and operating successful clean-energy projects.
Strengthening Thailand’s Energy Security
Panel Discussion 1: Scaling Utility-Scale Renewable Energy & Storage—Strengthening Thailand’s Energy Security
Focused on utility-scale solar and energy storage, the opening panel will examine how Thailand can expand renewable-energy capacity while supporting reliability, flexibility and long-term energy security.
The discussion will explore the role of battery energy storage in balancing variable generation, supporting the grid and improving the availability of renewable power. It will also consider project development, grid connectivity, infrastructure planning, technology selection and the commercial requirements for scaling utility-scale projects.
As electricity demand grows and the energy system becomes increasingly decentralised, stronger coordination between renewable generation, storage and grid infrastructure will be essential. The panel will examine the partnerships and planning needed to create a more resilient and investment-ready energy system.
Powering Homes, Businesses and Industries With Clean Energy
Panel Discussion 2: Accelerating Distributed Energy & Rooftop Solar—Powering Homes, Businesses & Industries
With a focus on distributed solar and energy storage, this session will consider how decentralised energy solutions can help households, commercial facilities and industrial operations manage energy costs, improve resilience and advance their sustainability objectives.
The panel will explore rooftop solar deployment, behind-the-meter storage, corporate energy requirements, emerging business models and the technical and regulatory conditions required to accelerate adoption.
Speakers will also discuss how distributed energy can support industrial competitiveness, reduce dependence on conventional electricity supply and enable businesses to take a more active role in Thailand’s clean-energy transition.
Mobilising Investment and Green Finance
Panel Discussion 3: Mobilizing Investment & Green Finance for Thailand’s Clean Energy Transition—Strengthening Bankability & Project Development
Financing remains one of the most important factors determining whether promising clean-energy opportunities progress into operational assets.
This panel will examine project bankability, investor expectations, risk allocation, financing structures and the preparation required to attract capital into solar and energy-storage projects. It will bring together perspectives from developers, investors, financial institutions, technology providers and other stakeholders involved in project development.
The discussion will focus on improving project readiness, reducing investment risk and developing commercially credible pathways for deploying capital across Thailand’s clean-energy market.
Exclusive Closed-Door Leadership Roundtables
Complementing the main-stage panels, two exclusive closed-door roundtables will create space for candid, peer-level dialogue among senior industry decision-makers.
Roundtable 1: Advancing Corporate & Industrial Sustainability—Accelerating the Energy Transition Towards Net-Zero
This roundtable will examine how corporations and industrial organisations can convert climate ambitions into practical and commercially sustainable action.
The discussion will cover renewable-energy procurement, distributed generation, energy storage, energy efficiency, electrification and credible pathways towards net-zero operations. Participants will also consider how sustainability strategies can support energy resilience, cost management, regulatory preparedness and long-term business competitiveness.
The closed-door format will enable corporate energy users, sustainability leaders, solution providers and other senior stakeholders to exchange experiences and discuss the operational realities of implementing decarbonisation strategies.
Roundtable 2: Building Better Solar Projects—Advancing Engineering, Construction & Asset Performance
The second roundtable will focus on improving quality, efficiency and value throughout the solar-project lifecycle.
Participants will examine engineering and design coordination, procurement, construction management, project delivery, commissioning, operational reliability and long-term asset performance. The conversation will also address common execution challenges, performance optimisation and the steps required to deliver projects safely, on schedule and within budget.
By bringing together developers, EPCs, asset owners, operations teams and technology providers, the session will encourage practical knowledge exchange across project development, construction and operations.
Connecting Ambition with Implementation
Thailand’s clean-energy transition will depend not only on ambitious targets, but also on reliable infrastructure, investable projects, capable delivery partners and growing demand from businesses and industries.
Thailand Clean Energy Week 2026 will connect these different elements through focused industry dialogue, executive engagement and knowledge sharing. The event is designed to help stakeholders understand emerging priorities, exchange practical experience and identify the collaborations required to advance Thailand’s next phase of clean-energy growth.
Thailand Clean Energy Week 2026 will take place on 13 November 2026 at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium, Bangkok.
