Hoymiles has announced the commissioning of a 300 kW commercial and industrial (C&I) solar project at Sagari Leathers Pvt. Ltd. in Agra, India, deploying 61 units of its MIT-5000-8T three-phase microinverters. The installation represents another deployment of microinverter technology in India’s growing C&I solar segment.
The project was completed with Solarpanda® – Service Is Our Strength as the EPC partner and Sun Solista as the distribution partner. According to Hoymiles, its engineers carried out module-level checks and on-site inspections, focusing on connections, inverters and panels during project execution. The company said the microinverters are engineered to perform reliably in India’s heat and support the Indian grid.
The MIT-5000-8T is an 8-in-1 three-phase microinverter developed for C&I solar applications. It provides 5,000 VA of rated output power and can accommodate up to eight high-power PV modules. The model is compatible with commonly used modules in the 600 W to 750 W+ range.
The 300 kW installation adds to the growing adoption of rooftop solar across India’s commercial and industrial sector. By deploying 61 three-phase microinverters, the Sagari Leathers project uses a distributed power conversion architecture designed for C&I rooftop applications. The project also demonstrates collaboration between technology providers, EPC companies and distribution partners in delivering commercial solar installations.
